Refund & Cancellation Policy

1. Overview
This Refund & Cancellation Policy applies to orders placed on Indi Andaz (indiandaz.com), operated by Prilix Labs. Indi Andaz is a marketplace connecting buyers with independent sellers. Refunds are processed in compliance with the Consumer Protection Act, 2019 and Consumer Protection (E-Commerce) Rules, 2020.
2. Order Cancellation
- You may cancel an order before the seller dispatches it by contacting us or using the cancellation option on your order page (where available)
- Once an order is dispatched, cancellation is not possible — return rules below apply
- If we or the seller cancel an order (e.g. stock unavailability, pricing error), a full refund is initiated for prepaid amounts
- Approved cancellation refunds are credited to your original payment method via PayU within 5–7 business days
3. Return Window
For eligible items, you may request a return within 7 days of delivery. The item must be unused, in original condition, with tags and packaging intact. Return eligibility is confirmed by our support team after reviewing your request.
4. Non-Returnable Categories
The following categories are generally not eligible for return or exchange (except where defective or wrong item received):
- Perishable goods (food, flowers, etc.)
- Intimate wear, innerwear, and personal hygiene products
- Digital goods, downloadable content, and gift vouchers
- Customised, personalised, or made-to-order items
- Items marked as non-returnable on the product page
5. Return Process
- Raise a return request via your order page or email us at support@indiandaz.com with your order number, reason, and photos (if applicable)
- Our team reviews the request and shares return instructions if approved
- Pack the item securely in original packaging and hand it over for pickup
- Refund is initiated within 5–7 business days after return pickup is confirmed and inspection is complete
6. Refund Timeline & Method
- Refunds are processed to the original payment method via PayU
- Refund initiation: 5–7 business days after return pickup confirmation
- Bank/card credit: additional 3–10 business days depending on your bank or card issuer
- COD orders: refund via bank transfer or UPI to a verified account you provide
7. Damaged or Wrong Items
If you receive a damaged, defective, or wrong item, contact us within 48 hours of delivery with photos or video proof. We will arrange a full refund or replacement at no return shipping cost to you. You will not be charged for return pickup in such cases.
8. Seller-Specific Policies
Individual sellers on Indi Andaz may have stricter return or exchange policies for certain product categories. Please review the seller's page and product listing before purchase. Where a seller policy is stricter, the seller policy applies; where it is more favourable to you, this platform policy applies.
9. Marketplace Role
Indi Andaz facilitates returns and refund processing but product quality and packing accuracy are the seller's responsibility. We work with sellers and logistics partners to resolve disputes fairly and in accordance with applicable law.
